Q. What
if I am not at home when they deliver
the goods?
A. The courier will leave a card for you
to contact them directly and organise a
redelivery time. There is no extra cost
for this.
Q. Does
having the wipes and creams etc being
on the top shelf as with the silver
bear distract the baby when you are
changing their nappy?
A. In short, no. We have found if
you give them something to play with ie,
talcom powder or jar (with lid firmly
attached) it helps them keep still. You
do need to make sure that you tighten
the lids on all things. It is a great
feature and one that will save your
back!
Q. What
side are the teddy bear hooks on?
A. We let you attach these yourself so
if you put the table against a wall you
can still use the teddy bear hooks on
the other side. They are very very handy
and safe.
Q. Can
I order a table without the high sides
or without casters?
A. No. In order to keep our
manufacturing costs low it is not
possible to alter the design of the
table. You can choose to assemble the
table and not insert the high sides,
however this is not recommended as the
table will be unsafe with out the high
sides and risk of your baby rolling of
will be increased. You can also remove
the castors, however the table will be
considerably lower. (50 mm lower).
Q. Can you match the paint from my
cot?
A. Yes, however stains vary from company
to company so it therefore may be
slightly different. Also, the type of
wood used can make the stain appear to
be slightly different. We can only match
walnut and baltic. We also paints white and other
colors.
Q. What
type of paint should I use?
A. You can use a stain/varnish all in
one, a water based paint in conjunction
with an undercoat, or a stain, sealer
and top coat varnish for the best
results. We sell a stain/varnish all in
one in various colors. For best results
we do recommend you spray the paint onto
your table. Don't worry about painting
the MDF base, just paint the pine legs
and sides. We also recommend to paint
the table unassembled and then assemble
once dry.
Q. What
mattress should I use for the bed?
A. Most cot mattresses will fit the bed.
Other wise see your nearest babyshop to
get one or we also supply the mattress
for the beds.
Q. Do I
have to paint the furniture?
A. No. You can choose to leave it raw
however spill and dirty fingers will be
harder to wipe clean.
Q. I have
measured our doorway and I don't think
the sliver bear table will not fit through
it, what should I do?
A. To be on the safe side assemble the
change table inside your babies room.
Take this approach with cots and other
furniture.
